Description: A good primitive period antique American NYC urban street scene oil painting. It retains its original pine stretchers. There was a note tucked into the frame as pictured that says it is “….opposite Union Square” as you can read if you zoom-enlarge the picture of it. I can neither confirm or refute this, but I suspect it to be true. There is an area that needs restoration, as pictured. In fact, if this period painting were given the cleaning love/restoration it merits, it would be a fine antique primitive slice-of-life NYC painting.
