Description: American depression era folk art Sculpture, carving. About 10 inches tall appears to be walnut. This was in my grandparents farm house when they both passed 25 years ago. Don’t know who made it but they had it since the depression. Grandpa Cecil, was a member of the Oddfellow’s. He had a small collection of carvings from hobos, who were down on their luck in traveling at the time. There is a small compartment beneath the posterior which appears to have had a little piece of wood as a slide closure Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
