Description: Altaya Mint Michelin Model in Display CasePEUGEOT L'ECLAIR***** This is a superb mint example of the Peugeot L'eclair in Michelin livery. This particular model was driven by the Michelin brothers in the 1895 Paris - Bordeaux - Paris motor race and was the first car in the World to participate in a motor race with pneumatic tyres ! Released by Altaya in France in 2005/6 the 'Official Michelin Collection' featured various vehicles fitted with Michelin tyres and were produced by IXO Models and this is certainly one of the harder to come by models from that collection. This diecast scale model with plastic parts comes in mint condition mounted on its black plastic display plinthcomplete in its clear hard plastic display case with outer card sleeve. L'eclair model comes in mainly blue bodywork colourway finish with gold trim in Michelin livery. Numerous Michelin decals applied to the vehicle, model comes with black tyres on yellow spoked wheels. Measures some 4.5cm. in length at around 1:43 scale. Clear hard plastic display case and card sleeve come in excellent condition. Model is intended for 14+ years due to small parts etc. Overall a superb cased example of this highly collectable Altaya-Michelin model.Please note that I have other vehicles from the Michelin collection listed and some yet to list.
