Second edition Wilding and sons. 42 pages of charming poetry in thin card covers with a photograph of Elizabeth Bromley wearing her Royal Red Cross, as well as another 2 medals. The RRC is only awarded to military nurses for outstanding service, and was first awarded to Florence Nightingale. At the moment, there are only about 50 holders of this award. I have been, sadly, unable to find out anything about Elizabeth Bromley, but I imagine she served in the Great War. Internally, this is all sound, with some foxing. The card covers, as you can see, are a little chipped and faded. 435All the books which I list are from our own private collection, which is extensive.
