Description: Alexis Andrew Nicholas Koerner (19 April 1928 – 1 January 1984), known professionally as Alexis Korner, was a British blues musician and radio broadcaster, who has sometimes been referred to as "a founding father of British blues". A major influence on the sound of the British music scene in the 1960s, he was instrumental in the formation of several notable British bands including The Rolling Stones and Free.The double disc album Bootleg Him! [Warner Bros. Records, Inc 2XS 1966] collects a myriad of tracks on which he played with soon to be future notables such as Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, Robert Plant, Steve Miller, and Charlie Watts - all of which appear on at least one track here. This copy is a 1st Terre Haute pressing from 1972. The vinyl has a couple of marks and some general rubbing, but plays well. It is in Very Good condition. The original gatefold cover shows some ring wear as well as some general shelf wear. Both the top and bottom of both record insert slots are split partway, as shown in the pictures. Other than that, it is still dark black and bright. It is in Good Plus condition. The original Warner Bros. inner sleeves, advertising Warner Bros. "Loss Leaders" - samples featuring other WB artists - are both aged, but have no splits or tears. They are in Very Good Plus condition.
