The coils are carefully scatter wound one at a time with heavy build magnet wire. The larger diameter rod magnets give these pickups lots of spank and a little more bite. The middle pickup is reversed for humbucking in the 2 and 4 positions, and the bridge pickup has extra turns for more bass and increased output...These pickups come with aged alnico rod magnets and aged screw heads (mounting hardware). The pickups will look right at home in an older or relic'ed guitar.
