Skeleton with musculature and ligaments. The stand has a label with GERMANY inside a crest and was most likely created by Erler-Zimmer, based in Wurteemberg, Germany. Hand-painted muscle origins, labels and insertions. Includes multi-part skull, removable arms and legs, flexible vertebral column, Latin labels, including labels on the interior of head and bottom of feet. Vertebrae are interspersed with a realistic looking yellowish jell. Features include nerve branches, vertebral artery, herniated lumbar disk, cut calvarium, suture lines, and individually added teeth. Over 600 structures of medical/anatomical interest in this adult skeletal model. Outstanding, intricate details. Bones were cast from a “real” human skeleton. DIMENSIONS: 71”H x 16”W x 9”D. SKELETON ONLY=68”Tall. STAND ONLY=2”H x 21.5” x 21.5”. Stand’s support piece=41.5”. CONDITION: Very Good. Latin labels (a few are slightly faded). Skull cap does not tightly close.
