Description: First edition, first impression in first issue dust jacket with the 'Capricorn One' advertisement to lower panel. A classic of science fiction comedy and the subject of radio, stage, comic and TV series adaptations. Original blue cloth with silver lettering to spine. Very minimal spotting to top edge with mild pushing to spine tips and a couple of knocks to corners, otherwise near fine. The original and unclipped dust jacket shows a touch of spotting to verso in places, mild shelf wear to flaps and unobtrusive reinforcement to the front bottom corner verso, but is otherwise near fine and notably bright and free from the often-encountered fading to the spine panel.
