Description: This lot contains 7 inserts used in A.C. Gilbert Erector sets. One of the inserts is original and the other six are reproductions. The original insert measures 12-3/4" by 3-3/8" by 2-7/8" deep. One corner of this insert has been repaired with about 1-1/2" of clear tape. A very nicely done large parts box measures 6" by 3-1/8" by 3" deep. I don't know the maker. A Brian Jonson repro insert measures 3-1/8" by 2-5/8" by 1-1/2' deep. This insert would hold 2 light bulbs, a magnet and a battery holder. The other 4 repros are mustard colored and include 2 "CS" boxes, a 3-1/4" by 3" by 2-5/8" deep parts box and another insert that would hold 2 light bulbs, a magnet and a battery holder. I don't know the maker of these inserts. I combine shipping fees on multiple purchases whenever possible.
