Description: Rolls-Royce ~ Ac compressor ~ Direct replacement to the A6 Delco type Twin belt Brand new Suits ‘65 – ‘89 Rolls-Royce models to include Silver Shadow, Silver Wraith II, Corniche, Camargue, Silver Spirit, Silver Spur and Bentley equivalents. (if you have a model or year that you are unsure of fitment, please email us with VIN and we will confirm) This is a brand new superior replacement compressor for the Rolls-Royce factory adopted A6 type AC Delco unit with twin belts. It is a higher performance unit with 10 pistons compared to only 6 in the A6 design. They are Teflon coated so the unit operates quieter and more efficiently. The unit is lightweight compared to the A6 at almost half the weight. Designed and built with special seals as opposed to the out-dated seals of the A6 which often leaked, and a friction ring in the clutch to avoid slipping and subsequent resulting failure. The unit comes painted black to match the factory look along with an “old style” decal to maintain the factory look*. New bolts and nuts included which can be used as needed. This is a direct fit and offers a quasi-factory look.Remember, this is brand new. Widely available are remanufactured AC Delco units which, in our experience, are failing in very short time frames like less than 6 months. Usually getting noisy and leaking. In our search for a better performing AC compressor for a Rolls-Royce, we found these and have been testing them for over 3 years now with complete success. They are NOT “just an alternative replacement” but a far superior unit that will out-perform the A6 compressor both new and remanufactured.
