Description: A very stylish vintage small bowl by quality London retailer Asprey & Co. The bowl is made from solid sterling silver and hallmarked for Asprey & Co, London, 1976. A family crest is engraved to one side and a family name has been engraved on the underside rim "Muscat Family". "Asprey London" also stamped to the underside. The bowl stands approx 7cm tall. It measures just under 7cm diameter across the foot and 11.5cm diameter across the basin mouth. A really nice weight of 224g. The golf ball in picture 3 is a size guide. Condition: The bowl is in very good condition with one small shallow dent (picture 13) and a 2cm chopmark dent which is visible inside and out (see pictures 14 & 15). I am sure these can be rolled flat. The bowl also looks a little off on the round rim when viewed from above, though I am unsure if it was or wasn't always that way? Other than that the decoration is nice and sharp and the hallmarks are generally nice and clear. There is a family crest engraved into the side and also impressed text on the rim saying "muscat family". The bowl is not weighted, it is solid silver as you would expect from Asprey.
