Description: A FINE WUCAI 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' BOWL QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER REIGN MARK A richly colored bowl with an iron red dragon on one side and a green dragon on the other on the exterior. Each dragon is chasing a flaming pearl among blooming flowers. Next to each dragon is a phoenix with wings spread wide. A band of bajixiang (the Eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism) and ruyi symbols circle the rim of the bowl. On the interior of the bowl is a flaming phoenix bird. The recessed base is inscribed with a six-character Qianlong reign mark in underglaze blue. Measures 2.5" in height and 5" in diameter. Overall in good condition, there is a 1-inch crack to the rim.
