This is an original rug made by Afghan craftsmen and craftswomen who have been making such rugs since centuries. Each of these rugs take months to finish, each strand of wool and silk is hand knotted individually one by one, having the deigns memorized by the artist or using very old design blueprint, which only they can understand.
