Description: Immaculate, near mint to mint, vintage set of 6 L. Hitchcock Rock Maple ladder back dining chairs. Turned legs and back supports with curved and shaped horizontal slats. The slats are stenciled in the company’s classic and historic “Harvest” motif. The seats are of woven rush, in the 19th century manner. Each is signed and the backside of the lowest slat.All six are in near mint to mint condition. Structurally sound - no loose joints or any indication of the frames having any wiggle. The rush seats are without any issues, all are tight, without reed wear or breaks. There are some *extremely* minor indications of wear but these have been touched up. Each chair has been pictured individually. Measurements: 41” tall. The backs of the chairs are 17” wide. The chairs are appx. 19” deep overall. The seats are 19.5” wide, 17” deep and 18” high.
