Description: For Sale is a restored 6 Knoll tulip dining side chairs designed by Eero Saarinen dating back to 1961-1968 when Knoll was at 320 Park ave and went by Knoll Associates. - 6 Authentic Knoll Eero Saarinen swivel side chairs. Each chair has had the fiberglass refinished and the bases have been powder coated by Bonehead Performance (Bonehead Performance does custom work for Knoll out of the East Greenville, Pa plant). The swivel mechanisms have been restored to work perfectly- broken parts have been replaced. The cushions are brand new and made from Knoll Textiles Pristini fabric- designed by Toni Pristini in 1947. The color picked is 466953-001 Beige/white (51% Post-Consumer recycled Polyester, 49% Polyester - 100,000 double rubs Wyzenbeek) the cushions have been handcrafted by Jen Tiberi (jentiberi.com). We used an original cushion as the pattern to preserve authenticity. We will also provide the original red/orange in the sale along with the leftover Knoll Textile fabric. 5 of the chairs are from 1961-1968 and the other is from the late 50s, as it has the original swivel mechanism (which is the only difference between the other 5 and not visible). All 6 of the chairs have the original BR 51 marking on the bottom of the bases.
