Description: I found this fly on DressedIrons YouTube channel and tied a few up for myself. I was amazed at how the Bluegills love this fly, and mostly larger ones. I altered his materials slightly. He uses moose body hair for the tail and shellback. I used deer hair for the tail and lacquered black turkey tail for the shellback. He used chartreuse thread, I used red. He used medium chartreuse chenille for the body, I used Fluorescent Chartreuse. It's a darker chartreuse. The only other fly that even comes close to this fly in bluegill production is the Bully Bluegill Spider, also tied by DressedIrons as well as a dozen other people on You Tube. You get 6 Gill Getters. They are weighted on a #10 hook with Fluorescent Chartreuse chenille bodies, white round rubber legs and red Heads.
