It is a high-performance and long-lasting replacement unit that effectively removes oil mist, water, and other contaminants from entering your air braking system, ensuring the supply of clean and dry air throughout the system. Complete Air Brake Protection: Our air dryer cartridge is efficient enough to remove oil and contaminants to safeguard your air brakes and other associated components from damage and malfunctioning, ensuring reliable braking while on haul. Perfect Fit: This oil coalescing filter is crafted specially as a direct replacement part for the OEM 8008414PG. It is a perfect fit for your existing Bendix air dryer system, allowing the users a faster and hassle-free installation. SAE Compliant: Our oil coalescing filter cartridge is compliant with SAE standards providing the best compatibility with Bendix AD-IS, AD-SP & AD-RP air dryer systems, and is suitable for most truck make and models. Installation & Maintenance Guide Installation: Initially you have to remove the old air dryer housing from your truck and then remove the old desiccant cartridge and dispose of it according to local regulations. Once you have removed the old cartridge, take the Mytee Products’ Air Dryer Cartridge with seal ring kit for installation. Now use the included seal ring kit to ensure proper sealing and fitment during installation. Now you can install the new cartridge into the existing housing ensuring the cartridge is properly fitted. After the cartridge is successfully fitted in the housing you can now reattach the housing to its original place and tighten it securely. Maintenance This desiccant air dryer cartridge within the air dryer is responsible for removing moisture from the air. You must regularly keep on inspecting the air dryer system to check for any signs of reduced performance. This includes checking for: Increased stopping distances Sponginess in the brake pedal Corrosion in air lines For further instance simply consult your truck's service manual for the recommended service schedule for the air dryer system. This may involve draining any accumulated moisture from the air dryer system at specific intervals. The replacement also depends on your truck's operating conditions and usage, the desiccant cartridge should be replaced periodically. For the same, you should check for the following: Visible wear or damage to the desiccant cartridge Unusual noises coming from the air dryer unit 18 MONTHS WARRANTY: This product is covered for one year or completion of 100,000 miles since installation or 18 months after you buy it from Mytee Products, whichever comes first. We provide a warranty to all new products only if the parts have defective material or workmanship (must be used in appropriate applications). The warranty doesn’t cover the parts that fail or get damaged due to misuse, misapplication, or accident. Unless specified otherwise, buyers/consumers need permission from your salesperson to initiate a return under warranty. We will replace any part free of charge only if our team finds a defect after a thorough examination. The warranty only covers only the replacement of defective parts (under the mentioned conditions), we disclaim liability for labor and/or special or consequential damages of any nature. If the buyer/consumer decides to return the parts under this warranty then the buyer must agree to wait for us to settle the claim before deducting any amount from your payment to Mytee Products.
