Published by Convention Press. Printed in the U.S.A. I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. Multicolor hardcovers, no dust jackets. I paged through each book - complete with no missing or torn pages. Overall very good clean condition, light handling wear. Tight bindings. Most covers show light handling wear, minor smudges, with light rubs at spine ends and tips. The Sisemore book has little nicks on the upper front hardcover edge. Three books have names and writing inside the covers and / or on end pages, and have underling and small marks on several pages. One other book just has minor pencil underlining on two pages. Crisp pages, light tanning; may be some minor edge nicks. Few creases. No musty or smoke odor.- A Church Training Juniors by Margaret Sharp. Copyright 1966. Has 145 pages.- Studies In Amos by Kyle M. Yates, Jr. Copyright 1966. Has 136 pages. Erased pencil underling on two pages.- The Ministry Of Visitation by John T. Sisemore. Copyright 1954, Reprinted 1960. Has 120 pages. Has a name written on the front end page and also notes written inside the back cover.- Religious Liberty by C. Emanuel Carlson and W. Barry Garrett. Copyright 1964. Has 149 pages. Has the name of a Baptist Church and a person who completed the Bible Study course written inside the front cover and on the front end page. There is underlining and a few minor marks in ink on several pages towards the last half of the book. - John's Witness To Jesus by James L. Sullivan. Copyright 1965. Has 148 pages. Has pencil writing partially erased on the front end page and pencil written notes on the back end page. Vintage Lot HC DJ Books H A Ironside Bible Commentaries DictionaryHere is a group of 24 vintage Bible Commentary series books by H. A. Ironside, Litt.D. Published by Loizeaux Brothers. One is a stated First Edition. Most are 1970s printings of the original works. Printed in the U.S.A. I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. Total of 24 books: 18 have the dust jacket and 6 do not have a dust jacket (missing if they originally had one). The actual hard boards are a reddish-brown color with gold decoration and print on the spines. The 8th picture is an example of the hard cover underneath the jackets).I list the title of each book and the original edition date and this printing date. The Revelation book has a green trifold foldout.I fanned through each book. The dust jackets show a range of wear and tear - several have significant chipping, and three have tape repairs underneath (last picture). The hard boards underneath the dust jackets show light handling wear and aging overall; firm bindings; just a few minor page tip creases; I did not notice any page tears. The books without dust jackets show more wear, aging and fading overall on the hard boards; some pulling away from inside the cover spines; some tears at the spine ends (more on Matthew and Luke). Range of aging and soiling along the closed page edges. ALL books have underlining, highlighting and / or marks, written notes - range from a few pages to several (or numerous) pages inside each. No musty or smoke odor.I show examples of the title pages, printing edition pages, address labels, marks and writing.- Lot 18 Books With Dust Jackets: I give the shortened title on the dust jacket. Each weighs about 4 1/2 lbs.- Volume 4 K-N: ISBN 0-385-19362-9, printing number line 10 9 8 7 6 5 4. Has 1162 pages. - Volume 5 O-Sh-N: ISBN 0-385-19363-7, printing number line First Edition 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. Has 1230 pages.The shade of the red hard board covers vary between the two volumes. Volume 4 is a darker red and volume 5 is brighter red. Both have gold print on the spine and front cover - this also varies between the two volumes.I fanned through each book. Overall good clean condition, light handling wear. Tight bindings, although there is some pulling away from inside the cover spines of these thick books. The covers show light handling wear, minor smudges. No writing. Volume 4 has an embossed name seal from a past owner at the lower corner of the end page, and this page is also vertically creased along the edge. Volume 5 has light water damage at the lower spine edge through the book, with faint creases and some faint water marks; and there is some red color running along the lower edges of the front and back map end papers and also along the first few front and back pages. There's also a little red color along the lower edges of the last eight pages. I show some examples. Crisp pages overall, a few minor tip creases. Does not appear to have been handled much. Light handling and storage wear overall. Light scuffs to the gold closed page edges. A little fraying to the end of the ribbon marker. Pages are crisp and bright overall however I noticed light creases or rippling to the thin paper pages here and there. Tight binding although there is some pulling away from inside the upper cover spine. Light rubs at the cover spine ends and upper cover tips, with some tearing at the lower cover tips.
