Description: For sale is a set of four antique and vintage travel souvenir miniature carved Native American canoes. We are selling these as a complete lot. We will not piece out individually unless one is worth $1 million lol!! Some probably being older than others. One of the canoes came with an old receipt identifying it as a Tlingit Native American canoe model. We are unsure. (See Pics). It has a varnish wash on it. You can see the lighter areas underneath the seats where the varnish was missed. One canoe with old red paint that has been worn and also with some faint writing on the side. Please see the close-up detailed pictures. We cannot discern what it says. Possibly Native American names or words. (See Detailed pics) It also has a nail through the end of one side, probably from being displayed many many years ago One comes with its own wooden canoe paddle. The smaller of the canoes appears to be an example of a dug out canoe. Several Native American tribes, including the Oneota, Dakota, Karankawa, Lenape (Delaware), Powhatan, Seminole, and Muscogee (Creek), are known to have historically made and used dugout canoes. There were several other native American tribes that also used this technique to make canoes. All measurements for each canoe is in our picture section with a tape measure. Please see pictures for measurement purposes. All in very good condition for age. Minor wear as expected for some. No major brakes chips or cracks noted anywhere. Please ask any additional questions if you have them regarding any individual canoe.
