Description: This listing offers a set of 4 Jena Glas Schott Mainz Mid-Century (1950-60’s or so) Clear Glass Coffee Mugs (or Tea Cups) with Fitted Woven Straw Coasters. Made in Germany, the heat resistant mugs are in excellent condition and brightly display, as do the woven coasters. Having a long history, the durable Jena Glass was invented by Otto Schott in 1884 in Jena, Germany (...as read in a Wikipedia article). It is highly unlikely to find these mugs complete with cleverly fitted and removable woven coasters, which also have removable waterproof decorative liners! But here you have them… 2 golden/maize and 2 royal/cobalt blue coasters... great for casual get-togethers!
