Description: Up For Offer 4 digit Cub Cadet Original garden tractor. Serial number 2677, built in February 1961. This tractor was restored using the pest parts off a total of 3 Cub Cadet Original tractors. All the nuts, Bolts, seat, reflectors, Hitch, Steering wheel, Head lights, tail light, rims and tires came from an Original. The only thing not correct to the tractor is the time period upgraded 10Hp Motor and stack. This was what the person I bought it from wanted. Tractor is beautiful and about 97% complete. There is a filler panel between frame rails on front not painted but I do have it, I believe (If I can find it). And the rims have not been repainted and come with the original 1961 tires. Yes they hold air and yes the are weather checked. Believe me at 63 years of age you will be weather checked also. I bought this tractor from another cub collector to keep it from being bought with the purpose of being torn apart for the resell of parts. With in weeks of buying this I had a career change and have never had the time to do anything with the tractor. It has spent the better part of 8 years in a heated building collecting dust. Thus said it may need fine tuning to make it run flawlessly. Only thing I do know that is wrong with it is the fuel shut off valve on the sediment bowl, the O-ring has dried and drips fuel when open. Noticed it last time I had it out and the float in the carburetor will need adjusting or replaced. Comes with free dust. Shipping: prefer pick up in person. But as stated Shipping Assistance available. Shipping assistance would include only the following: putting tractor on pallet, securing it for transport and loading on to freight truck. How indebt you want the shipping pallet / crate is your call and details will be worked out on a one on one basis. This is not going to be free assistance as pallets, wood and materials are not free and neither is my time. All freight rates and freight carriers and payment to them will be " Your " responsibility. As I said I prefer you come pick her up. Also, all liability off the freight is on you, once tractor leaves my ground and goes on your pallet if anything happens it is between you and your shipping company. This is sold where is as is. Now stating that I am a truck driver / freight hauler. So I will do my very best to get your tractor to you safely. I will treat it as if I am sending it to me. I love this little tractor, but it deserves to be used and appreciated and not sitting in my building.
