This is an INCREDIBLE translucent color changing rock under all three wavelengths weighing 7.4 ounces (212 g), and measuring approximately 2.50 inches X 1.50 inches X 1.50 inches (6.2 cm X 3.6 cm X 3.6 cm). This rock is nice and bright in a nice size and will “wow” all your friends for sure as you show the color changes under different wavelengths!!! Not all Calcite Spar fluoresces in all these colors, so this is a nice piece to own. This fluorescent rock is calcite from Mexico, and glows a strong PINK under LONGWAVE (Photos 1 and 5), YELLOW under MIDWAVE – more yellow than shown! (Photos 2and 6), and a cool LAVENDAR under SHORTWAVE (Photos 3 and 7). Then, when you shut off the shortwave lamp, it PHOSPHORESCES a beautiful BLUE! (Photo #4) NOTE: To show the yellow midwave, I tried to adjust the color that the camera showed. It was showing a white, when in reality it is an incredible mellow yellow color (under fluorescent bulb-type midwave lamps). In doing so, some blue reflection developed, and I STILL couldn’t get the nice yellow to show properly in the photos. THERE IS NO BLUE IN THE MIDWAVE FLUORESCENCE. It displays as an awesome yellow. For good quality lamps at reasonable prices, I suggest you consider the offerings of Engenious Designs on the Internet. Typical Blacklight UV lights probably will NOT display any color. Also, the intensity of the color will vary depending on the strength of the lamp you have. I have set the shipping as Ground Advantage Mail.
