Description: You will receive 35+ live bladders snails between 0.1"-0.25" in size. A few extra will be included to cover any DOAs. They are pond-raised. Orders are shipped in USPS Priority boxes from Monday thru Wednesday (excluding holidays) to prevent delays during the weekend. Unlike most sellers who package their snails in just damp paper towels, I double-bag mine with 1oz of fresh dechlorinated water. This ensures their survivability and longevity; most snails shipped in damp paper towels tend to die a few days after arrival. These snails are very, very easy to spawn. Just add them to your pond or tank. No feeding is required if there are already fish. Add calcium supplement like Wonder Shell to encourage strong shell growth. They are very good for breaking down detritus. Snails will eat almost anything, including dead plants, dead fish, fish poop, mulm, leftover fish food, and blanched leafy vegetables. Please do not add the snails to your aquarium if you are not comfortable with them taking over your tank because they WILL! I personally recommend a tank dedicated to just snails, especially if you are growing them to feed them to your pufferfish. A small piece of Java moss will be included with your snails.
