Grab your tissues and follow below: When Grandma passed it was Christmas time and I had gotten her a new dress. A few days before Christmas she had an episode, and she never spoke again. We still communicated but, in a new way. From that day forward, I sat with her for hours and talked to her, put on her favorite songs, and tried to recount our favorite times. It had been 10 days and then she passed the day after Christmas in the morning. Back to that dress… I opened all her gifts because she never would, and one day, when visiting I saw that my Uncle and Aunt had put her in the dress I got her for Christmas (and the gnome socks). That was the outfit she wore for the rest of her days. After she passed, I bought another one of those dresses and that fabric is what I’m using for the bottom ply in this drop. The cursive “Taupe” logo is her actual handwriting. A friend of mine who is a graphic designer used the letters she sent to create “Taupe” in her handwriting. I think of her everyday and the next time you hear “Like a Rolling Stone” by Bob Dylan, I hope you do too. Deck specs: Each deck has a unique top ply made of walnut. All center ply colors are hand dyed and specially selected to accent the color of the graphic. Each graphic is an authentic skate graphic overlaid onto fabric, but smaller! The Adelaide Pro boasts a high kick, low concave and a semi-squared nose and tail, with the tail being slightly larger. Adelaide Pro SOFT is a more mild version of the original Adelaide.
