Description: Lot of 3 old handbags / purses. All are intricately decorated with stitching, trims, etc. Two are clutch style; the other has a drawstring closure. Age unknown, but there is fabric deterioration, so guessing they must be quite old. They are of similar size, in the neighborhood of 8” x 5”. Only one has a tag, which says, “Made in India”. Be aware that they do have condition issues: loose threads, missing snaps, threadbare areas, etc. Maybe more appropriate for display than actual use as a bag. They are dusty and could use a cleaning, but I was afraid to do anything to them that might further damage them. I do love the intricate stitching and metallic threads. The peacock is especially detailed, and includes some areas that appear to be stuffed a bit, to give it a 3-D effect. Really beautiful!
