Purpurea ssp. Purpurea (location data Ft.Nelson, BC); a low growing mostly green and veinless evergreen pitcher, newly formed pitchers have a blush around the outer lid and pitcher opening (as pictured)3). Doreen's Colossus; a bright green, big and tall giant with sparse purple veins4). Purpurea ssp. Purpurea x Ares (by Jerry Addington); cold hardy cross, mostly evergreen with medium height growth, vibrant color from blush to red chubby pitchers with dark veining even more so under the upright lid5).
