Should fit 2016-2019 models. Compare part in pictures with your part for compatibility issues. Consult with your dealer for fitment regarding other years/models. Part numbers need to match to ensure a proper fit. Latch is in excellent working condition. Plastic housing is in great shape with no cracks or breaks. Center rubber pad (w/switch) is soft and pliable with no cracks or splits. Rear rubber edge trim protects against paint wear on metal body panels. Video camera shows good. Fisheye lens is clear with no cloudiness or discoloration. No scratches or pitting on surface. Wire harness/receptacle is in great shape with no issues. Brass connector pins are straight and clean for a good electrical connection. Video cable from your vehicle needs to be in good shape. The proper harness to fit receptacle along with cable shielding needs to be in good shape to protect against radio interference. Rear mounting metal support cup is held in place by the threaded studs (w/nuts) coming out of the back of the camera unit. Makes for a quick and easy snap-in installation. Clips are easy to break upon removal without proper tools. The two (2) end clips are needed to secure the plastic molded switch/camera in trunk/hatch opening. VW....quality German engineering.
