The Pork Shank has long been discontinued and is no longer being made so get this while you can! The Pork Shank was introduced in June of 2012 by Jerry Busse and this is what he said: "The long handle and generous choil will make this an ideal Day Hiker or hunting knife." That pretty much says it all! This has an overall length of just under 10 inches with a 5" Blade, and with the blade with just under an inch, this is a slim knife to have on you for everyday or camping. This has have since than been discontinued and not all that many around anymore. The production run was not very long and so not all that many produced. They save a few blanks for the 2012 Fall Knob Creek Show. The blanks were given to the Busse Custom Shop to make a few very special customs for those higher end collectors that wanted something special. So the Busse Custom Shop went all out and got a beautiful match set of Full Birdseye Maple and did a hand smoothing to make this perfect for this knife. They finished it off and attached it with Mosaic Pins. The Blended Convexed Edge is Razor Sharp! This particular one was purchased at the Spring 2014 Knob Creek Show by me and has been in my collection ever since. These were never made as a production with these Birdseye Maple Wood Handle w/Mosaic Pins and each one is hand custom made by the Busse Custom shop. Dead Mint never used, carried or sharpened. This is made of the infamous INFI Steel which is a proprietary Steel is used ONLY by Busse Combat! This knife will be backed 100% with Lifetime Warranty from Busse Combat!
