Description: Pair of 2 Takahashi hand-carved, Red Wood Birds. 2 Vintage Takahashi Bird Brooch - Male Scarlet Tanger & Cardinal Rare. The Smaller bird is a handsome male Scarlet Tanger bird. Excellent vintage condition. I don't see any damage - the Cardinal's beak is painted a little strangely but this was done before it was coated with a clear coat by the original artist. Both pins are lacquered and the white marks are reflection from my lights. I will mail in a box for safety.
