Description: A pair of (very rare) early 1900s (uncut) hardwood spinning top toys with metal tips. They were used as Christmas tree ornaments, likely acquired by a worker at the factory and repurposed as an innovative holiday decoration. Each measures approximately 3 3/4” in length by 1 3/4” at the widest point. Both have some age/use wear but are in overall wonderful shape with some of the applied decorations still intact. One has a base color of gold paint while the other is more of an amber/brown pigment. Please refer to photos for quality and condition.
