Description: Two original color photographs by Miller Outcalt (1914-2004). Both are signed to matting. The Death Valley one is titled to back and back of this photo has his stamp. Approximate Measurements: Outer mat: 16" x 20" (both) Sight: 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" and Death Valley: 10 1/2" x 15 1/2". Unknown location of untitled one though reminds me of the Palouse. This one is sandwich between matting and I am unable to access back of photo. CONDITION: The untitled one has a few foxing spots to front mat and a nick to sky and a short line under that visible in raked light (I have a photo showing this). The one entitled Death Valley Stove Pipe Wells Early AM has severe foxing to matting as well as foxing to back of photograph. Flaws to surface of glossy photo in raked light (see photo though disregard reflection from the light bulbs). Please study all photos as part of condition description. Please note: my ebay name fromthebeatofbutterflywings is not on actual item. Miller Outcalt was a philanthropist, photographer, and entrepreneur. Miller and his wife, Bunny founded and ran the KALT photographic equipment business in Santa Monica until 1983 when he moved to Carmel becoming active in the photography community of the Monterey Peninsula.
