Description: These are original hand colored lithographs from John Gould’s, “Birds of Asia”that were published between 1850 & 1883. Both sheets measure 22”x 15 1/4”and both have the original information sheet. Alcippe Brunnea or Brown Alcippehas some staining to the top left, Dumetia Hyperythra or the Buff-throated Dumetia has a tear on the left margin, but both could probably be framed hiding any problems. The hand colors are still vibrant and neither lithograph looks to have never been framed. They will be packaged well and sent flat.
