Description: Here is the perfect addition to your festive table! Two Old Paris covered soupiere or tureens with fantastic details. Each tureen is oval shaped on a smaller foot with curved acanthus leaf handles and artichoke finals. Rims are pained a beautiful cerulean blue with gold. The handles and finials are outlined in black and gold, making the molded details stand out in relief. Unmarked, but likely A. Paris Rihouet-Lerosey Porcelain, which made similar pieces. The tureens measure approximately 8.5 inches tall, 13.6 inches by 6.5 inches, and have a depth of 4 inches. Each weighs 3.7 pounds. One tureen lid was previously broken and repaired with rivets. Both show wear to paint, particularly on rims. The item(s) are antique and sold as is/as found unless otherwise noted. Because they are old, they were used and will not look new or new-like.
