19TH CENTURY BRITISH KUKRI FIGHTING KNIFE w/SHEATH (read description)

Description: Kukri fighting knife with original sheath. I purchased this knife at an estate sale. The gentleman who passed was an Ex Officer with the Texas Border Patrol in the Narcotics and Drug Trafficking Departments. There were many documents at this estate sale that had case information in detail. His team would patrol mostly on foot and horse along the Texas Borders. I assume with this profession he stumbled across quite a bit of neat treasures he found. Was a neat house to walk through as him and his wife enjoyed traveling for his job to other States and Countries and for pleasure to State Parks across the United States by RV. Details Below:RARE hand made classic fighting knife with a full sharp curved bolo style carbon steel blade with a brushed satin finish and opposite sides blood grooves. This well made knife actually appears barely used, with slight wear or scratches on the blade. No visible chips to the blade edge but does show some minor age or build up on the carbon steel blade but overall it is still in very good condition to near excellent condition. Sheath / Cover:The brass tipped leather covered wooden sheath does show signs of wear as seen in pictures. Overall in my opinion the Sheath is in good condition for approx. 100-123 years old.
