Description: 19th Century American Southeastern Pennsylvania Manganese Glaze Redware Pitcher Antique mid 19th century American manganese glaze redware pitcher. Probably southeastern Pennsylvania. Circa 1840 to 1860. Has wear consistent with age and use, glaze wear to the rim and handle, a large chip to the rim, and several large chips to the foot rim. Measures approximately 7 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 6 1/2 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. JW
