19th C Crystal Cut Glass Bronze Sinumbra Argand Solar Piano Table Parlor Lamp

Description: Description: Listed here is this exquisite Alhambra or Sinumbra Piano Table Parlor Lamp, circa late 19th C! It is finely etched crystal, having an elaborate gilt bronze trefoil base. Originally, this was a oil or kerosene lamp. It's now converted to electricity, having an installed turn switch in the bronze base. The cutting of this shade is quite scarce, and the gilt bronze base most exquisite! This is an estate-fresh example, now freshly offered to our eBay community. Condition: Aside from a slight nick on the shade collar shown (this goes unseen with the shade in place and quite negligible), there are no other chips, cracks or repairs to this special cut crystal shade. The metal hardware is refitted/electrified, and shows signs of soldering (shown). One crystal prism is broke (lacking it's tip), and this lamp lacks a couple of crystal beads; easy enough to replace or ignore. The existing prisms appear all original and are in very good condition, with only minor nicks here and there. This lamp has typical antique surface wear throughout. No chimney included. This lamp works, and the older replaced wiring appears very sound. Please view all of the images, as they are part of this description.
