Bearing almost all the spes and of a 1958 Les Paul Standard reissue, these in fact are the finest Japanese Les Pauls of the time and were outfitted with USA made Gibson Pickups, long neck tenon, lacquer finishes, full sized pots and nice tone caps. Overall, the quality is very impressive and will surely satisfy any Gibson enthusiast. This eye catching cherry sunburst, that has the essence of a sweet honey burst, is sure to capture the attention of any audience. It has some nice, light blistered birds eye maple on the top that gives it unique character. The body features a carved maple top, paired with a mahogany body and a one-piece neck featuring a creamy rosewood fingerboard. To top it off you also have the classic open-book headstock, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic Bridge, and thin binding in the cutaway. Once you place this guitar in your hands it will be hard to put it down because the sound is resonant and it simply plays like a dream. The sounds was so impressive, we were not exactly shocked when we looked under the hood, to see Gibson USA pickups. These offer some warmth/clarity with a ton of of Classic Les Paul tone serving up plenty of bite to handle all kinds of music genres. It has been professionally set up for optimal tone and playability, so it is ready to rock straight from the gig bag. This stellar beauty remains in absolutely excellent condition even after 33 years and shows some nice "put your mind at ease" level play-wear. There are some very light dings, dents and buckle marks/worming and faint scratches and handling marks, (mostly on the face of the headstock) but this baby appears SUPER clean overall and is ready to be taken out and rocked!
