Description: Extremely rare case for a Winner's Medal from the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville. This originally came with a Bronze Medal, but I have a case for a silver medal and it is identical. As far as I am aware the same case was also used for Gold Medals. It is heavy duty cardboard with a velvet interior. Both the outside and inside cover has the Albertville Winter Olympics logo, and the inside is fitted for the medal, with space above for the ribbon. The case has Scotch tape on it (see photos), which presumably could be professionally removed, and some damage inside (see photos), but I am selling it as is.
