Description: This 1982 Philadelphia Minted coin although an ERROR from the mint in it's own right, here is also a "teaching" moment for young numismatists to see for themselves how our modern day coinage is made compared to the days of when a dime was made out of silver and other metals and was not in fact "Sandwich" (layers) coinage like we find in circulation today. This coin is a perfect addition to any coin collection. Although the coin is currently uncertified, we believe, if submitted by yourself, we believe this would slab out with a HI-Grade. Some folks have asked how do I know my (ND) Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, and Halfs that are mostly from the MID-80's?? Very Simple. I was the one who bought about 2000 different coins of different denominations from Wholesale dealers back then who were getting them from places like different Security Services whose counting machines would JAM when they encountered "out of round" coins. I just waited until now to sell them so Thank You for looking. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
