Description: Handsome fold-out 1972 Shell road map of Georgia, printed more than 45 years ago. This map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. On the reverse side there are inset plans of Savannah, Macon, Augusta, Atlanta, and Columbus. The map was distributed by the Shell Oil Company in 1972 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 9-TT. The front cover photograph shows dogwoods in bloom at Callaway Gardens.
