This booklet, 46 pages in length, provides a chronological history of the Service, beginning with its creation by Michigan law in 1935. There are lots of black and white pictures. The booklet is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear or creasing from handling and storage over the past 50 years. Except for the name of the original owner on the front cover, there is no handwriting in the booklet. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Soil Conservation Service enthusiast, Michigan historian, or historical publication collector in your life!
