Description: 1970's American Vintage Furnace Glass COBALT Tube Beads VARIOUS LENGTHS AND DIAMETERS 1970's vintage Tom Arnold Furnace GlassThese beautiful examples of early American Furnace glass beads are rare and very nice. We acquired these from an old time bead store in the Pacific Northwest. We were told that Tom Arnold was an early experimenter with making furnace glass beads and produced some fine colors and shapes. She had had these for decades and there may be the occasional broken bead you would find in bags that have been in a warehouse for many years. The only shape here is tubular, some with a twist, some longer, some larger diameter, but all are in a similar range. As with any hand made beads, there are slight variations in size and color. The sizes are approximate. There are about 35 beads in each of these lots. FREE SHIPPINGCobalt is an intense color. In the lots in this color there are about 35 beads in each lot but because of the variations in diameter, length and thickness the actual count will vary. Each bag has mostly, maybe all of the beads have a twist. The diameters vary from about 5mm to about 10mm and the lengths run from around 20mm to around 30mm. Again, the mix is quite varied, look at the photos as part of the description.
