Description: 1968 Hot Wheels Redline Custom Camaro US Graqua Green Aqua This is one of those unusual redline cars that has a typical emerald green paint job but the paint is clearly Aqua on half of the roof. I don’t know how this may have occurred but I have heard stories of the prevalence of pot smoking employees who created some quality control issues. One collector friend told me how these lines which fed the paint guns were supposed to be thoroughly cleaned when making a color change and this procedure was often ignored. I don’t know but I have seen so many paint errors over the years that I suspect that this may be part of the problem. That and almost non-existent quality control. Nevertheless I have witness many cars with paint abnormalities sell for a lot of money and I am asking only what a car in this condition should sell for. If you’re a collector/investor and your target cars have to be rare or in exceptional condition go to my store and do a search for “redline” and you will find several hundred.
