The siege lasted for eleven months--the food didn't. "Khartoum" is a Julian Blaustein production directed by Basil Dearden for United Artists release in Cinerama and Technicolor--starring Charlton Heston, Laurence Olivier, Richard Johnson and Ralph Richardson.
