The coin is labeled (Al Gomhouriah al-Arabiah al-Mutahida) United Arab Republic as opposed to Arab Republic of Egypt. The coin was minted when Egypt and Syria where united into a confederation. It is KM-406 and weighs 10 grams of 0.72 silver. It measures approximately 29 mm in diameter. This coin is rather scarce with a low mintage of 250,000 pieces.
