Description: 1962 Ford F350 Pickup Truck This is a very nice classic ford. It has 64,326 original miles. It is very clean and straight. It is rust-free! No rust-through anywhere. Original paint. This is a great truck for a business, car shows, farmers market, etc. etc. Clear title. I can help arrange shipping if needed. I have more pics I can send including undercarriage and underfloor pics. Thanks for looking. I PREFER WIRE TRANSFER WITHIN 3-DAYS. I WILL STORE IT FOR A MONTH FREE IF NEEDED. INCAN HELP ARRANGE SHIPPING. MECHANICAL This old ford has what I believe is the original 292 V8 engine. It has the 4-speed transmission. The motor runs nice and smooth. It does not smoke or knock. It has no dripping leaks. It runs cool, with no overheating. There is no water in the oil, or oil in the water. The transmission works as it should. The clutch works properly, with no slipping or jumping. The carburetor on it now is not the original. The original carburetor needs rebuilt and is included. I have another carburetor on it now that runs fine, but does not have the connectios for the manual choke and throttle control. Some of these old trucks had a throttle control on them to run the engine faster when using a pto. All lights and heater work. Wipers work. This has been converted to an alternator. The brakes work, but need some work. This has original power brakes, with the hydrovac booster that mounts on the frame. The booster has been bypassed, and most likely needs rebuilt. It is easier and better to convert these to trucks to the newer style power brakes. It's probably cheaper too. I can possibly do this work for you, for a cheap hourly rate. The brake shoes and wheel cylinders should be checked. This pickup has old tires on it. It has 16" wheels that have the one piece outer lock ring on them. They are NOT widowmaker style wheels. Some tires shops, and most truck tire shops will do tire replacement on these. Besides the things I mentioned, it needs no other mechanical work unless you choose to change all the fluids, belts and hoses. BODYThe body is in nice shape. There is no rust-through. There is no bubbling or beginnings of rust-through. The paint is original. It's not perfect, but looks great for original 1962 paint. No sign of any collision work or paint work done ever. There are a couple dings on the body but nothing major. The front bumper is new. I painted the wheels, grille, and bumper ford wimbledon white. The flatbed was painted in an oil-based flat black. The wood on the bed is in good shape. You could sand it and clear coat it for a cool look. I could possibly do that also. I just decided to leave it grey in case the new owner preferred it that way. Doors, hood, and windows function as they should. The windshield has no cracks or chips, but is hazy. That may buff out, but not sure. It's usable as-is. This old truck is sold as-is. I can help arrange shipping and I will assist the trucker to load it. I prefer wire transfer, but I accept zelle, venmo and cash app also.
