Description: For your intense viewing pleasure is this clean vintage Ludwig 5.5x14 Super Classic snare drum in gorgeous Oyster Pink Pearl. This early '60s drum has a pre-serial keystone badge and internal date stamp of MAR 22 1961 on the clean white interior. The wrap is in terrific condition with only very few light surface marks. It was ordered with chrome hardware that still shines beautifully with very little aging on hoops and lugs. The original chrome over brass triple flanged hoops are in excellent condition with one tiny spot of chrome loss on top hoop as shown. The WFL P-87 throw-off operates smoothly and looks great, as does the Ludwig butt plate. The muffler operates smoothly. There are no extra holes or modifications. There's a nice Ludwig Weather Master Parade Batter smooth white head on top, and Ludwig snare side head on bottom. The original 18 strand wires still sound great.
