THE IMPRESSED BOXED WITH THE RAISED JAPAN STAMP IS EXACTLY THE SAME ON BOTH DOLLS. THE #3 BARBIE DOLLS HAVE THE IMPRESSED JAPAN STAMP WITH NO BOX. Vintage Barbie Ponytail #2 Original Body BARBIE'S TORSO AND ARMS HAVE SLIGHTLY CHANGED COLOR, HER LEGS HAVE NOT. THIS IS ONLY VISIBLE UPON CLOSE INSPECTION. NECK KNOB: Fully intact. Zero chips. TORSO: The Barbie torso is solid and heavy. Excellent condition. Stain free. In between joints the vinyl is pale. Free of scratches. STAMP ON REAR: BARBIE, all text is legible. However, this particular doll does not have the T.M. (™) stamp or the R (®) stamp after "Barbie". This is correct. I have done extensive research and not all early vintage Barbie dolls are stamped with an ® or ™ after "Barbie". Everything about the Barbie doll body is the same. ARMS: Both have the rubber feel. Stain free. In between joints the vinyl is pale. Free of scratches. HANDS: All fingers are intact. As you can see, her hands are larger. The fingers are slightly faded. Rubber feel. Zero polish. Surface dirt in between the fingers. Stain free. Free of scratches. LEGS:Both legs are straight. The left leg is shorter than the right (this is common). One indention on her left inner leg. The legs are functioning, however, I do not recommend placing her in the sitting position due to her age. I've only done so for the photograph. Stain free. Not faded. In between joints the vinyl is pale. Free of scratches. FEET:All toes are intact. The original red polish is 100% complete. Both feet are stain free. A couple of pen size dots near the top of each foot. Not faded. Free of scratches. STAMP ON FOOT: Legible JAPAN stamp with a rectangle box around the lettering, stamped "Japan". IMPRESSED RECTANGLE AND RAISED HORIZONTAL JAPAN PRINT. Left side of rear reads "116". All joints/limbs are tight. All joints/limbs are tight. Zero repairs to the Barbie body. ORIGINAL BARBIE #2 BODY FROM 1960. The listing includes the #2 Ponytail Barbie Doll body only, the last two photos of the additional dolls are for reference only.
