Nice corners Nicely centered Warning: some discoloring in the back Otherwise Clean back Vintage ‘58 Terry signed with the New York Yankees in ‘53 but was traded away to Kansas City where he gained seasoning. In ‘59, he was traded back to New York in preparation for his standout year in ‘62 when he took the mound against the Giants in the World Series game seven when he was one out from either winning or losing the series in game seven facing Willie McCovey with the winning runs on base. McCovey smashed the ball, which for less than a second looked for all the world like the winning hit, but was snagged by Bobby Richardson at second ending the ‘62 series in one of the more memorable finishes in World Series play. Terry was awarded the MVP prize for the series, one of two in which he appeared and won.
