Description: Original owner's manual for 1955 Mercury Custom, Montclair and Monterey. This manual was printed in March 1955. The cover is loose and worn and has writing on it. It looks from the writing like the new owners purchased their car on September 23, 1955. The inside is much nicer than you would think from the outside. There is some discoloration on the Table of Contents page. There are no marks or greasy spots or discoloration until you get to the Accessories section on page 36. Apparently the new owner was considering some of the accessories and wrote prices by them: Clock $18, Spotlight $40, Road lamps $30. You would multiply these figures by a little over 10 for what they would cost today.So....if you wanted all the content to be nice, and weren't worried about the cover getting scuffed in your glove box, this would be a perfect fit.
